Internet Resources: UploaderBOX.com lets you share 1 GB files for free!

August 2, 2011

Thanks to the Free technology for Teachers blog, I discovered UploaderBOX.

When my students work on large multimedia projects, turning them in can be a challenge. I tried sharing my Dropbox account and promptly got my public folder suspended for a year due to overuse.

Most enterprise e-mail solutions have very limited attachment limits. Even Gmail is limited to a 25mb attachment.

UploaderBOX.com is a site where you upload your file up to 1 GB. You then get a URL to share the file with someone else.

Especially when working with video, file sizes can explode. This is a good way for students to share media when working on group projects or when turning in final products.
